Subiaco

As in the last post I talked about nightclubs specifically at Northbridge, in this one I would like to talk about Subiaco, a suburb which I really  like to go to and it is one of the best suburbs in Perth.
So, I could start saying about the stores of clothing out there, you can find many stores of famous brands and you can find since cheap clothes to expensive ones.

Still during the day, I normally like going to the market of fruits and vegetables outdoor, it does worth it because you can find nice fresh food and cheaper than other places where the foods aren't so fresh.

And about the night i could not forget to talk about one of the best nightclubs in Perth, I have heard some people saying that really is the best place to go, The Gold Bar, you will encourter with a big and nice bar just located at the entrance with a big range of drinks and shots, that's what i can say to you in advance, you must go there and confer yourself.

So, Subiaco is a suburb which you do have to visit, but if you want to live over there you can, but you should start saving money from now!

Perth's Nightlife

If you are thinking about come to Perth and you are a outgoing person, laid back and like going out to catch up your friends, go clubbing or even just sit down in pub to drink up and have a talking, i can say to you in advance: "- No worries Mate!! "
One of the most famous suburb in Perth is definitely Northbridge, that's because it is located 5 minutes away from the City and there is a big concentration of many nightclubs, pubs, pool bar, restaurants.

I will tell you some of them where i have been already.

 The Deen
It is a really known nightclub in Northbridge where you can go on Monday in a night called "Backpaker night" and you can safe some money, it means that most of drinks are sold for half price, such as a jug of beer which contains around 1.200 ml annd you can buy for nothing more than AU$ 8.00 it's a really bargain.
Usually on Thurdays they got a party called " Latin Night" and we brazilians say "Brazilian Night" because they've got a brazilian band so if you miss a bit of brazilian nights or songs you can find it on Thurdays and you go upstairs you can listen spanish styles like regaton, salsa and much more.
They are opened on Fridays and Saturdays as weel playing eletronic music.

I could say also about The Mustang Bar, where i have been many Wednesdays playing tournaments of pool and listening goods song alive since they have bands and not only DJ's.
My tip to you guys is, at Mustang Bar on Wednesday if you turn up before 8 o'clock you can buy for 5 bucks to have a barbecue with a mid glass of beer and also got a green stamp which gives you 50% discount whole night on beverage!! That's awesome!!

pool tournament weekly on Weds

Of course i have spoken about just 2 of many places which you must check our by yourself, in the next time I will bring up to you some places to clubbing far away from city!

Penguin Island

In this post I will show you one of the best places I have already gone in Perth, the reason for saying that is, we went in a big and friendly group of friends and my girlfriend had already arrived in Perth as well.
we went there at the beginning of the summer season so we've got an awesome summer day, i mean, it was really sunny and hot but otherwise quite windy too what made it a little challenge get a dip.

I could say that is a cheap trip to do, you just to take a train at Perth Underground Station and go to Rockingham Station on Frementle line, so when you get there you got to take a bus to Pinguin Island and buy the tickets for around $12.00 to go to the island by ferry.

When you get the island you will see many differents kinds of wild life such as many kinds of birds including the amazing pelicans.

Pelican
We could even see some wild dolphins swimming just some meters of us.

The trip was really exciting, as i told at beggining we were a big group.

 And finally the pinguins.

So, if you wake up and see outside the Sun shining don't think twice, invite some of your mates to go to Pinguin Island.

Little Creatures Brewery - Perth, Australia

As many friends of mine know, I really apreciate a good beer and I would say one of the reason for coming to Australia is because of its beers. I could find that many people here like brewing their own beers, although it takes a long time, the quality of the result is even better than a commercial beer.
Little Creatures Brewery is more of a laid-back restaurant than a brewery or tourist attraction. But the beer certainly does flow, so we guess that makes it a bar of sorts. Choose from Pale Ale, Rogers or Pilsner (The Little Creatures specialties), which are all made just metres away. The interior features an open-plan layout which really brings the place to life. It's a favourite watering hole among those from "Freo" and is packed every Saturday and Sunday night. Most of the food is designed for sharing and it's all excellent, from the mixed olives to the chilli tomato mussels, even the marinated kangaroo with bush tomato chutney. We also recommend any of the woodfired pizzas, but if you're a cheese lover definitely go for blue cheese, pear and rocket pizza. Bookings are not taken so just head on over. If it's busy, you'll probably find you'll be waiting at the bar, wearing a funny hat...that's how the waiters can tell who's in a queue!

So, if you are a passionate for beers as such as me, you should visit this amazing Pub/Restaurant/Brewery...

King's Park

One of the first places I visited in Perth when I arrived down here in Perth was the Kings Park.
Kings Park is a 4.06-square-kilometre (1,003-acre) park located on the western edge of Perth, Western Australia central business district. The park is a mixture of grassed parkland, botanical gardens and natural bushland on Mount Eliza with two thirds of the grounds conserved as native bushland. With panoramic views of the Swan River and Darling Range, it is home to over 300 native plant varieties and 80 bird species. It overlooks the city as well as Perth Water and Melville Water on the Swan River.
In 1872 it became the first park to be designated for public use in Australia. It is the largest inner city park in the world and the most popular visitor destination in Western Australia, being visited by over five million people each year. The park is larger than New York's Central Park which is 3.41 km².
Besides tourist facilities Kings Park contains the State War Memorial, the Royal Kings Park Tennis club and a reservoir. The streets are tree lined with individual plaques dedicated by family members to Western Australian service men and women who died in World War I and World War II.
During September of each year Kings Park hosts Australia's largest wildflower show and exhibition - the Kings Park Festival.
